Priming Tank is designed to guarantee the continuous, reliable operation of non-self-priming centrifugal pumps. Its primary function is to maintain a constant supply of liquid on the suction side, ensuring the pump impeller remains submerged at all times. This prevents cavitation (i.e. air from entering the system), which is the main cause of pump damage and catastrophic failure.
